Sleeping in Amsterdam
If the weather is nice (and even if it is not), you might want to rent a bike. Getting around by bike is the quickest way to get around the city. These are some bike rental options:
OV-bike (note: you need an OV chipkaart!)
If you want to use public transport, you can just hop on a bus, tram or metro and simply pay with your debit card at the check-in and check-out points. Instructions are at every bus/tram/metro station.
If you come by car to Amsterdam, then parking outside the city ring on a P&R is the best option. You then purchase a P&R ticket for a reduced price and travel into the city centre and back to your car by public transport. You find the P&R locations here.
